We've got some uh pretty notable weather to report from the Salt Lake Valley. So I've been watching storms come across the valley all day. Like I've might have mentioned before, we're sitting here, University of Utah has dropped into the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain Front.

Across the valley, about 20 miles uh away is the ochre front, and there have been rain and snowstorms just kind of pelting us on and off all day. Wow. What's the temperature out there? Yeah, you know, we're hovering right at about zero C, maybe one or two C, um, just this kind of rain and snow mix and um a slight potential disaster.

Sunny, nice, bright sunny sky here in New York City. So, you know, we're in that funny time where it's cold in the morning and and it warms up right away, so you're not quite sure what to wear. Yep. We we're doing we're doing that every day. We're also doing these sort of wild swings from spring into winter. And in fact, if I had to make a prediction, we'll we haven't introduced him yet, but I think our guest today, you can find him this weekend with his two boys skiing in the mountains.

I have very little to say on the TWIV part. I made a mistake. So good to be on the on the Evo podcast. Good for joining us. But there's really you know fun and interesting evolutionary genetics going on here um across campus. Uh I recognize there's also fun and interesting evolutionary genetics going on across the country and around the world. And so, of course, as Twevo continues, we'll be sampling far and wide. But we're just save a couple of them for when I visit. Oh, of course. Yeah, yeah. So we're looking forward to this um Twix uh podcast festival that's just in the early works here that we'll put be putting together for next year.

So what's the plan? We're gonna do a Twe and a Twiv and a Twim. Is can we do all three? Or can't you? Yeah, we we could even throw in a quick twip if we wanted to. We've got a new plasmodium guy who just got up and running. Wow. That'd be quite uh an effort. I guess we'd have to spread it over two days or something like that. Yeah, or maybe do some you know, kind of abbreviated half-casts of each one, just sort of uh all-star show or something.
